Dhruvan is portrayed as a guy madly in love with Anvesha. What I liked about his character is that he is thoughtful, introspective, and cautious. His actions are not driven by blind love but rather by the deep awareness of the societal and technological changes happening around him. 

When Anvesha brings forth her different conspiracy theories, he gives them a practical edge and approaches the future with a bit of hesitation, constantly questioning the ethical consequences of scientific advancement. 

What makes him raw and real is his moments of uncertainty about what’s going to happen: the tension of embracing an uncertain future. 

2. Anvesha 

Anvesha, contrary to Dhruvan, is excited, ambitious, idealistic, and eager to embrace a new future. Durjoy Datta perfectly blends romance with sci-fi themes this time, offering a fresh read to his fans and audience. The popular themes that I enjoyed in this novel were love and its philosophy, scientific experimentation and spirituality, and the critique of Indian society, media, and the government.

Durjoy Datta, in this novel, goes above and beyond simple romance and rather presents a philosophical idea of what it means to be loved and how it becomes a force that transcends the boundaries of time, mortality, and human existence. However, fighting against all odds, they remain devoted to each other. 

The novel also presents a picture of a changing government, mass killing, protests, and a complete political upheaval, which reflects the hypocrisy of Indian media and how the political systems and government work.

However, the philosophical tone was not overly complicated; it was presented in simple language. His descriptions of scientific experiments, reincarnation, and futuristic concepts were easy to understand, especially for readers who may typically not enjoy such genres.

Apart from the themes and emotional depth, the novel raised important ethical questions about love, life, relationships, physical existence, and what goes beyond death. Although the novel, at a certain juncture, may feel philosophical or spiritual, it gives an emotionally captivating story worth reading.
